This is a superior terminology textbook. It includes flash cards, crossword puzzles, and quick quizes to help you retain what you've learned.
Furthermore, it builds language skills in a logical manner, so what you learned yesterday will form the basis for remembering today's lesson.

Scott Schuman started The Sartorialist simply to share photos of people on the street that he thought looked great. The blog now receives more than 14 million page views per month. Even Better than the First!

I've been dying to get my hands on this and couldn't remember what the advance order delivery date was but it is today! I have just thumbed through it a bit, but even from what I've seen the book is as good or even better than the first. Scott has lately been dabbling in closer shots (as Robert Capa said, "if your pictures aren't good enough you're not close enough" -- or something like that.)

Scott has an uncanny eye and his aesthetic is just amazing. He covers a broad range of subjects here and, while some of the styles may not be for everybody, everybody in this book belongs there. Bravo, Scott!

His blog has better pictures then what was published. I like street style but unfortunately most of the pictures taken was of people who went to the fashion shows. His blog has better pictures of people who can really mix the lows and highs...and they are not people in the fashion industry coming on going to a fashion show.

Not that many words are needed to describe or review this amazing piece of work. If you are a follower and lover(yes i said lover) of The Sartorialist the site-blog and The first book then you have already decided to get this book. Is a must have in my collection and 1 of my most treasured possessions, it's an easy go to for inspiration on days that my brain is overloaded with style indulgence. And if you have ever met Scott Schuman or watched his videos or hear him speak about his passion, you would know that this is his true calling. He is as close to a gatekeeper of the right to express yourself through fashion and personal style that we have had come along since Bill Cunningham and Grace Coddington. He is of true beauty,poise,grace,humility,and confidence all things needed to create the utmost gentleman.

Good, not comprehensive

I have worked with this workbook extensively over the last two months in preparation for my CFP exam. I have answered every question in the book. I am writing my review in between day one and day two of the actual CFP exam and I can tell you that the questions in the book are definitional, simplistic, and immature compared to the actual exam. The book does cover the major areas the test is focused on. The answers provided for each question are brief. Many provide enough relevant facts to explain the answer, however some simply give the answer.

Jay Wile fell in love with chemistry when his parents bought him his first chemistry set. Many stink bombs and a few explosions later, he was hooked! He attended the University of Rochester to study chemistry and, while there, became fascinated with nuclear chemistry, eventually earning a PhD in that field. For several years, he did research under the auspices of the Department of Energy and the National Science Foundation while serving as an assistant professor of chemistry. Dr. Wile has won many awards for excellence in teaching and research. In addition, he has authored or co-authored nine books.

Here comes winter! From the Back Lagoon!

It's Hubie and his dog! It's winter in the Black Lagoon and Hubie hates the snow. He only wishes it would snow the day before Christmas. Then Hubie hears that a winter blizzard is coming. What will happen next?!?

I really like all the Black Lagoon books because they are really funny! Sometimes the books have jokes like: How is an ice cube so smart? Because it has 32 degrees! One thing I don't like about the book is in the middle Hubies friends come over Derek, Eric, and Freddy. But when Eric tells his ghost story it does not make any sense to me. I really like all the Black Lagoon books because a lot of them have silly pictures like on the cover on this book. I also like all the other books but out of all of them this one is my favorite!!!!

I purchased this book for my seven year old boy that is in the first grade. He is really into this series and has now read all of the series. This series is a great way to get a boy reading chapter books! i actually heard him laughing while he was reading and devoured each of these books in less than a day.

Love these books! Especially all 3 together because you will want to read them all in a row! I can't get enough of Miss Fortune!

I love this series about Miss Fortune, a CIA assassin who has to go into hiding because she has a contract out on her. She gets sent to a small town, Sinful, Louisiana to impersonate a librarian beauty queen. That is definitely not who she is, and she is not happy about it. She is undercover and is supposed to stay under the radar, but she runs into Ida Belle and Gertie, and the three of them just can't stay out of trouble. For such a small town, there are all kinds of undercurrents, and they are involved in it all including old bones and a few murders. The characters have a depth and quality to them that draws you in. These books are funny, exciting, well written and I was laughing out loud in many of the scenes! I love that the 3 books are together because once you start reading one, you will just want to go directly to the next one. I just can't wait to see what happens next!!

wow what a good bargain three books, full of humor, action/ adventure and intrigue. You get 3 awesome stories and don't have to wait until the author finishes the next book.

These three characters have so many zany adventures that I want to go meet them and hang out in person. There is lots of humor in these books. .The scenes are written so well, you can just see them happening. I laughed so hard in a few of the scenes I lost my breathe (I am old). and in other ones I cringe wondering if they are going to pull it off.

I always look forward to their next adventure.

If ever there was a author that got you addicted on her writing, Jana is that author. She hooks you and brings you right into the story, by paragraph 2, By paragraph 3 you will be laughing out loud. You will not be able to wait for the next book as the characters are so loveable and just plain funny in what they do! I found one of Jana's book by accident and have been hooked ever since. Introduced a couple of people and the too are hooked. This is a author that is just a fantastic writer, pure entertainment reading.
